Intel is making changes to specifications TDP for the chips U-Series family of Ivy Bridge

If you believe the information contained in the recently published on the site VR-Zone article, Intel has adjusted TDP specifications for their future family processors Ivy Bridge , other than ultra-low power and designed, including for use in ultrabukah. According to information driven, changes in energy-efficient chips Intel U-Series features a custom deal TDP, but they presumably are associated with the desire of the world chip maker to satisfy demand for the CPU of the computer vendors.

According to sources, these changes do not affect the nominal TDP of processors Intel U-Series, which will remain at 17 watts, as well as the highest value of the custom TDP, which remains at 25 watts. However, the lowest rate configurable TDP increased from 13 to 14 watts, and TDP in low power mode increased from 11 to 12.5 watts. Note that although these changes do not become critically important for casual users of systems based on Ivy Bridge, they can be a problem for manufacturers of PCs, which may have in some cases to make significant changes in the cooling system of its products.
